OCHA: ‘Israel’ arrested 100 Palestinians mostly from Jerusalem
Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- The Humanitarian Coordinator for the occupied Palestinian territory, Jamie McGoldrick, called on the occupation state in OCHA bi-monthly report to stop its demolition policy in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
In OCHA bi-monthly report, McGoldrick stated that the occupation state demolished nine buildings owned by native Palestinians, displacing a family of eight and causing damages for 19 others.
The report also stated that ‘Israel’ demolished a house in Ein ad-Duyuk at-Tahta community near Jericho, which was built as a donation. Five other buildings, that were built as donations in the community, were demolished as well.
The report added that Israeli illegal settler uprooted nearly 470 olive trees in different areas throughout the West Bank. They also physically attacked native Palestinians in Hebron and Ramallah.
The average of weekly settlers’ attacks increased to 80% with the start of March, according to the report.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces carried out 99 storm and arrest attacks throughout the West Bank. They arrested over 100 native Palestinians, including 55 from occupied Jerusalem.
Regarding the Israeli assaults against Palestinian farmers in Gaza, the Israeli army opened fire over 48 times at Palestinian farmers and shepherds in the besieged enclave.
The Israeli navy also opened fire at a Palestinian fisherman, wounding him in his head. It also attacked other fishing boats in the sea of Gaza.
